Chloe in the sun

I walked into the kitchen this morning to see Chloe stretched out in a patch of sunlight. She was so adorable, I couldn’t resist taking a picture.

Holy cow! My wife and I have a 4 month old kitten that looks exactly like her!
At least we’ll know what she looks like when she gets older.

Hey Todd, do you have any pictures of her? Don’t you love calicos? They are so pretty.

Actually I have a ton of them on my home computer. I’ll e-mail you a couple if you want.
My wife and I love our cats. Our calico is named Zoe and we have a 12 year old fat cat named Mitzy. Zoe is a beautiful kitten and a helion! She’s great to have around.

Haha, yeah, I think calico cats have certain shared characteristics. Chloe can also be a bit of a hellion. She’s the most energetic of all the cats in my family - she still has all the energy of a kitten. She loves to play! And she tends to be a little mean to my sister’s cats, especially if one of us humans does something she doesn’t like - she’ll take it out on them instead.
But she’s also quite the cuddler when she wants to be. Like my mom’s cat, she doesn’t like to be picked up, but she loves riding around on my shoulders (you should see my poor bathrobe - she loves to climb it while I’m wearing it!) and she loves to curl up on my lap for hours at a time - though only if it’s her idea.
You can go ahead and email pictures to jgrucza@jennifergrucza.com. I’d love to see.
