New Amazon store
Wow, Amazon has a new musical instruments section! They must have been reading my mind–this fits in perfectly with a little project I was thinking of starting.

What is the project? Do you play an instrument?

Hi Matthom,
Yes, I play the viola. For the project, I was thinking of creating a classical music website, with program notes for various pieces, reviews of CDs (though this is done everywhere, so I might not spend too much time on it), reviews of instrument accessories, reviews and information about local ensembles and string shops, and, inspired both by Scrivs’ Big Money Tips and my current job at Digital Advisor, affiliate links to buy CDs, MP3s, instrument accessories, books about classical music, and stuff like that.
It would definitely have a smaller audience than lots of possible topics, but it’s something I’m really interested in.

BTW, nobody steal my idea.

Sounds interesting. I play the piano and guitar, and I am always looking for sheet music, on the net.
Of course, I am more into today’s modern rock, folk, and alternative…
I think you have a good idea there. I don’t think it would be as small of an audience as you think.

Great idea Jennifer. I shall get started on it immediately
If you need any help with the Amazon stuff let me know and I might be able to offer some tips.
I played Viola in 6th and 7th grade. I sucked.

Hi Scrivs!
Thanks for the offer of help, I might take you up on that later.
Hey, having played any viola ever is better than not, right? Maybe? Hehe.
I’m really enjoying reading Big Money Tips, BTW. Well done.

Thats cool that amazon started selling instruments. I’ve been playing the chello for a few months, but I hate driving to my nearest music store (1 hour away).
